Really Green Credentials

Really Green Credentials is one of the leading UK and EU authorities on producer environmental compliance, specialising in environmental management systems and international standards and in providing advice on the certification of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) treatment operators to the EN 50625 series (collection and logistics and treatment of WEEE) and to EN 50614 (preparing for re-use of WEEE).

The company has, since 2009, spearheaded standard development in the EU and maintains robust, productive working relationships with WEEE, battery and re-use stakeholders across the globe ranging from governments, environment agencies, local authorities, and producer compliance schemes, trade and professional associations, blue chip producers, recycling facilities and technology providers.

Prior to setting up her own consultancy in January 2008, Julie-Ann Adams, the Managing Director of Really Green Credentials, set up and then co-owned M Baker Recycling [a specialist e-waste recycling/treatment facility] in St Helens, Merseyside, from its inception in 2000 to January 2008. The company progressed to an £8 million turnover with a staff of 140. Following its sale, Julie-Ann put her eight years' experience of the e-Waste / WEEE, batteries arenas, and her knowledge of government policy and EU regulations and Company Leadership to use to form her own consultancy business.

Julie-Ann Adams - Managing Director

Julie-Ann has more than 20 years' experience in the waste management and local government sector and was Europe's first approved WEEELABEX (EN 50625) lead auditor; and qualified also as a lead auditor to EN 50614, ISO 9001 and 14001 and is an Environmental Manager and assessor.
